Episode 13 features Shellye Roberts, a young single mother who had to deal with her father being shot and killed by a family member. After his passing, Shellye faced problems with anger and low self esteem all throughout middle school and high school, but after giving birth to her daughter she realized that she could no longer make bad choices for herself because she was now someone to look up to.
